Anti-aging, a very discussed subject, especially by older people, because young people don't give it too much attention until they become old themselves.
What is aging? In simple words it is the process which involves the decaying of the body, both internally and externally.
We begin to have less energy, we get tired very easily, our skin gets saggy.
On the skin wrinkles and fine lines start appearing, its gets dry and rough to the touch.
Undereye dark circles, puffy/baggy eyes, crow's feet, these are among the first signs that you'll be able to see as you go forward in age.
It is because the skin around the eyes is especially thinner and more sensitive than all the other skin.
When does this start to happen?
Well you could say that the process of aging begins the day you are born.
You are in a continous process of growing up, developing muscles, getting taller, etc.
You reach 21 and that is where the development kind of stops, and where it starts to go downhill, so to speak.
When you'll reach thirty you will already be able to see the wrinkles on the forehead, the crow's feet, etc.
This is, if we talk about the natural process and with no outside help.
Because we can slow the process down or hasten it, if we want to.
Smoking, drinking alcohol, eating unhealthy foods, these things will cause premature aging among other harmful effects to the body.
Exposure to harmful factors such as toxins and pollution, to the sun's ultraviolet rays of light will also cause premature aging and damage to the skin cells.
Too much heat and sunlight will cause the skin to dry out and to decrease the collagen production.
Dry skin becomes rougher and gets damaged easier making fine lines appear faster and easier.
Aging can be controlled and you could be 40 and look like 20, believe it or not it is possible.
It all matters on the lifestyle that you eat and wether you are taking care of your skin or not.
A good lotion for skin-care, a good moisturizer will definitely make the difference.
